Friday July 4, 2025. Summing up the week. The Trump bill passed and all kinds of changes are coming. The Defense Department and the Military Industrial complex are getting a lot of money, and I mean A LOT of money . All of the Green Initiatives funded under the “Inflation Reduction Act” are gutted. The industrial Farming Industry is undergoing some changes but it is hard to determine what they are unless you are part of that industry. Medicare and Medicaid are getting some changes but it is hard to understand unless you are in that business. There is a lot of language about extending the original Trump tax cuts and increasing deductions for mostly the middle class. Unless you are a CPA, good luck understanding the language. Anyway, thats as far as I have gotten. My friend Jean’s sister Tina is in the hospital in Nashville. I am taking her to be with Tina in a couple of weeks. I got my tags for my truck renewed.
