Summing up the week.
The Trump bill passed and all kinds of changes are coming. The Defense Department and the Military Industrial complex are getting a lot of money, and I mean A LOT of money .
All of the Green Initiatives funded under the “Inflation Reduction Act” are gutted.
The industrial Farming Industry is undergoing some changes but it is hard to determine what they are unless you are part of that industry.
Medicare and Medicaid are getting some changes but it is hard to understand unless you are in that business.
There is a lot of language about extending the original Trump tax cuts and increasing deductions for mostly the middle class. Unless you are a CPA, good luck understanding the language.
Anyway, thats as far as I have gotten.
My friend Jean’s sister Tina is in the hospital in Nashville. I am taking her to be with Tina in a couple of weeks.
I got my tags for my truck renewed. The sticker is in my glove box. Im sure Ill get it put on his coming week.
I have a 76th birthday coming up on the 13th. In a younger version of my life I never expected to see 35. Wow, God has surprises for you every day.
I am still decluttering from after Janet’s passing. Photos are still the hardest.
My friend Byron lives in a town west of Houston Texas. He is my age and has experienced the same things I have. I owe him a pistol and I am going to take it to him this year. (Part of my bucket list)
Still wanting to go see the “Blue Oval City” between Memphis and Jackson and eat a BBQ at Bozo’s Bar B Que in Mason Tennessee. (Another bucket list item). Blue Oval City is a Ford Motor Company operation designed to be a “Green” manufacturing site building electric F150 trucks. Don’t know how that is going to turn out given the new administration.
I am still attending Church of the Harvest in Olive Branch. A non denominational church located on the South side of Goodman Road just east of Spring Hill Road. Come on down. Two services at 9 and 11. The coffee is good and he music is memorable.
Nothing else spectacular this week.
Be well!!!!
